A major initiative for health and wellness is set to take place on January 19, 2025, as Doctor 365, led by chairman Dr Dharmendra Kumar and actor-producer-director Dheeraj Kumar, hosts the Doctor 365 Bollywood Maha Arogya Shivir at Chitrakoot Ground, Andheri West, Mumbai. This annual health camp has grown into a vital resource, offering free medical assistance to thousands of people since its inception in 2022.

The press conference, held recently at Juhu Gymkhana, brought together prominent Bollywood figures, including Poonam Dhillon, Vindu Dara Singh, Deepak Parashar, and spiritual leader Sadhguru Shri Dayal. Other notable attendees were musician Dilip Sen, singer Madhushree, and Bright Outdoor Media’s Dr Yogesh Lakhani, among others. The event began with a ceremonial lamp-lighting and a Ganesh Vandana performance by Vivek Prakash and Roli Prakash, setting a tone of reverence and community spirit.
Free Medical Services
The Maha Arogya Shivir aims to address a wide range of healthcare needs, including:
Free health check-ups.
Medicines worth ₹4 crores distributed.
Eye examinations, free spectacles, and wheelchairs.
Specialised women’s health services.
Dr Dharmendra Kumar, whose efforts have led to over 5.56 crore patients being served and 1.9 crore TB screenings conducted, highlighted the importance of such initiatives. “This camp supports Bollywood artists, technicians, backstage workers, media personnel, and their families. It reflects our commitment to community welfare,” he stated, adding that next year’s focus would be on making Gujarat TB-free.
Dheeraj Kumar lauded his brother’s unwavering dedication, saying, “What started as a solo journey is now a movement with many joining hands. This camp is a historic effort for the film industry, and we all stand by him.”
Dr. Yogesh Lakhani echoed the sentiment, calling the initiative “a remarkable social welfare effort” and expressing his pride in being part of it.
A Call to Action
As the fourth edition of the health camp approaches, the organisers invite people from all walks of life to attend and benefit from the free health services provided. Dr. Dharmendra Kumar extended his gratitude to collaborators, including Manish Singhal of Dangal TV and Ramesh Taurani, whose support has been instrumental in the initiative’s success.
The Doctor 365 Bollywood Maha Arogya Shivir promises to be more than just an event—it is a testament to the power of collective action in making healthcare accessible to those in need.
