Asian Paints has introduced Chromacosm, the world’s largest architectural colour system, boasting an extraordinary collection of over 5,300 shades. This ground-breaking initiative is set to redefine the way architects, designers, and professionals interact with colour, offering unmatched precision and variety to enhance creative expression.
A CREATIVE COLLABORATION
To celebrate this monumental launch, acclaimed architect and artist Suchi Reddy, founder of the New York-based Reddymade studio, has collaborated to bring her unique vision to life. Known for her human-centric and innovative design philosophy, Reddy has crafted an art installation inspired by the infinite possibilities of Chromacosm.
This installation is a vivid, three-dimensional interpretation of the system’s scope, featuring a series of rods that move from black to bursts of vivid colour. It’s a striking exploration of the spectrum, transforming the abstract concept of colour into an immersive, tangible experience. First revealed in December, the installation was on public display at Mumbai’s Architecture and Design Film Festival from January 9–12, 2025.
