QUICK MICROWAVE MASHED POTATOES

The simple potato, whether in the form of crispy chips, French fries, or mash, is a vegetable that both non-vegetarians and vegetarians like. Made up of about 80% water, this delightful vegetable may be prepared in a variety of ways while still tasting excellent.
This simple mashed potato recipe may be served as a side dish or eaten on its own; it takes only a few minutes to prepare using a microwave!
Ingredients
2-3 potatoes peeled and cut
1-2 Tbsp butter
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
2-3 Tbsp milk
Method
1. Wash peel and cut potatoes into cubes
2. Take a microwave friendly dish and place the potatoes in the dish. Cover leaving little space
3. Microwave for 5-6 min or until soft. Check and turn potatoes after 2 min
4. Remove potatoes and mash with fork add in the butter, salt, pepper and milk.
5. Add any more seasonings of choice and serve
Tip:
Add a bit of grated cheese to enhance flavour to make a creamy cheesy mashed potato

otatoes were the first vegetable to be grown in outer space!
