Where Dining Meets Experience

A royal atmosphere
A picturesque view of Tansen's interiors

Tansen, a new jewel in Hyderabad, draws your attention the moment you walk in with its 25-foot ceiling and flowing water. Sahil's Sufi renditions created a peaceful atmosphere as we dined on a beautiful feast. Paan Patta Chaat was a tangy treat, while Pathar Ka Gosht and Malai Tikka Kebab were delicate and flavourful. The Batti Ka Murg was equally delightful, especially when paired with cool mocktails like Bair Ka Nazrana.

What grabbed out during our stay was their thoughtfulness for my kid, who has a maida allergy. The staff made sure she had a range of safe and nutritional options, which made the event even more memorable.

Tansen's prices are modest, with a supper for two (without alcohol) costing around Rs 2,000, which is a deal given the quality and ambiance. Even on a weekday, the restaurant was packed, but the open architecture and high ceilings kept it from feeling too crowded. The combination of tranquil water features, calming music, and sophisticated décor produced an unforgettable experience.

Bair Ka Nazrana: Refreshing and unique

Their Hyderabadi biryani, covered with gold, is a must-try and a testimony to the city's culinary heritage. The Avocado Quinoa Golgappa merits special recognition for its originality and taste. Other prominent dishes are Knafeh, Halvaye Zardak, Paneer Khurchan, Dal Tansen, Green Chicken, and Uzbek Garlic Pulao.

Tansen is more than just a dinner; it is an experience that I will undoubtedly repeat.
